We are always accepting applications for volunteers. We use volunteers for day to day operations as well as summer programs and special events.
Desk Volunteer - must be 16 or older and have reliable transportation. Desk volunteers will learn how to check books in and out and possibly perform other office duties. They must have good customer service skills and be able to return books to shelves. They must be able to commit 2 hours a week to a set schedule.
Summer Program Volunteer - must be 16 or older and have reliable transportation. These volunteers help with crafts and maintaining order. Commitment is per event.
Shelving Volunteer - must be 14 or older and have reliable transportation. These volunteers help with dusting the shelves and maintaining correct order. Commitment is approximately 1 hour a week.
All volunteer positions require the working knowledge of the alphabet and being able to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to pass a background check.
